“China is a very important country for us. Having such a big number of inhabitants, the potential of Chinese visitors is appealing to Kusadasi. Kusadasi could be a touristic destination for the Chinese. The Chinese attach importance to history and cultural values, as we do too. It’s important for us not to restrict our visiting population by Europe, but also reach out to Eurasia. As Kusadasi Municipality, we are pleased to be able to support the development of tourism for these countries. We have organized a Kusadasi Tourism Promotion Platform. At this moment, we have a ceramics team of Mehmet Göçen Foundation and another team, which is a cooperation of our municipality and the Ege University. The latter is organizing the Kusadasi Ege Art International Art Days, named the Silk Road Art Group. We are very pleased to see artists among the team of journalists, who can also value these efforts.”
